Mark Fox

Name: Mark Fox

Year Born: 1968

Occupation: Home Appliance Installer.

About me:

I first started angling at the age of 12 when my dad purchased a boat for sea fishing, many a day would be spent catching mackel, plaice and dogfish.

Over time my love of the sport flourished and I found myself becoming acustom to course fishing on canals and local pools for anything that chased a maggot.

25 years on and now carp fishing is my focus, the methods have changed but my principles have remained.

I’ve fished venues far and wide both UK and Europe and endeavour to get out on the bank as much as possible.

Question: Current favourite venue & one in which you aspire to fish.

Question: Favoured hooklink material; fluorocarbon, coated braid or uncoated  braid.

Answer: A really hard one to choose but if i had to it would be the skinline coated braid.

Answer: lead clip with a heavy lead.

Question: Who is or was your angling inspiration when growing up and why?

Answer: I really didn’t have one until one day Matt Hayes and Mick Brown sprung up on sky TV to present the great rod race…  This changed my perception of angling forever.
