About Me

From the age of 12 fishing in general has been a big part of my life. I started as any young lad should, down a local club lake with my dad learning how to be patient whilst watching a bobbing waggler and twitching swing tip.

As I began to mature into a young man the satisfaction of float and feeder fishing seemed to wear off and I craved a new challenge. I tried my hand at match fishing for a few years and although it was only local club waters and open venues, it was extremely enjoyable and where I found my passion for catching carp. From there I moved on to fishing local day ticket waters with smaller fish & higher stocks, learning as I went along. As the years passed on my fishing improved, I moved from these venues to bigger more challenging carp waters reducing my catch rate but getting ever closer to that fish of a lifetime.

Nowadays my fishing is split between carp, coarse and family time with the latter being the most important of the 3.
